Royal Cohorts

The Cohorts consist of courageous koada'dal, feir'dal and half dal.  The Cohorts each have areas of responsibility, however, in these times duty carries them to march to far reaching lands in the name of the Dal Kingdom.  Each Cohort is independently run and managed, reporting achievements to the crown and uniting in the defense of our race when war comes.  Each Cohort consists of Wings, Flights and Talons.

Heroes of the Dal Kingdom

In memory of those who served and died for our our kingdom.

Rygel Windstream

The first Commander of the Thex Guard.  He was posthumously awarded the Thex Cross for preventing the Thex mallet from falling into the hands of invading forces during the fall of Takish Hiz.  Rygel Windstream also saved and ensured the safe escape of the royal family from the hands of the invading forces, giving his life in a final duel against the warlord leading the invading forces, Xanit K'Ven.  His spirit is said to now occupy the form of a zombie in the ruins of Takish Hiz (Befallen).

Sylveron Windstream

The successor to Rygel Windstream and eldest of his sons, Sylveron was awarded the Thex Cross for avoiding a host of trolls, ogres and teir'dal in the Eastern Commonlands Pass to Nektulos.  Sylveron was made invisible and penetrated the defenses of the city of Neriak where he located and slew a teir'dal shadow knight carrying one of the 7 Tears of Tunare.  Sylveron passed the Tear to his wizard comrade and remained over the body of the fallen shadow knight, for it had been forseen he would fight his last battle on that spot at that time.  He called out to the city's guards to come fight him and was slain by a warrior of the Indigo Brotherhood.  His spirit is said to now haunt the passages and tunnels of Neriak.

Torqumada

Called the "Inquisitor", Torqumada's zeal to slay the unfaithful was boundless.  From the day he took his oath as a Koada'Vie, Torqumada took the fight to the enemies of good, coming to the aid of the young and the weakened.  In Unrest, in the Lake of Ill Omen, in the Gorge of King Xorbb, in the ruins of Takish Hiz and across the Commonlands, he wreaked havoc and smote down all evil minions in his path.   The world to Torqumada was simply good vs. evil, no in between.  Once thought dead, he has returned to the Royal House Thex with a watchful eye and sword of light ready to smote down "heretics" to the Church of Tunare and unbelievers.
